At the site of Tomsk Polytechnic University in June 2023, a stand was launched and put into operation to simulate the operating conditions of aircraft engines in different operating modes with the replacement of traditional fuels with alternative fuel compositions, including synthetic environmentally friendly aviation fuels (SAF) obtained from the residues and waste of a circular economy cycle (animal fats, used cooking oils, vegetable oils, microalgae, etc.). The stand includes gas turbine engines of various thrust forces, an adjustable aviation fuel supply system, instruments for measuring power, temperature and pressure in various sections of the propulsion system, as well as other characteristics of engine operation, a highly sensitive semi-stationary gas analysis system for exhaust gases, instruments for measuring noise and vibration intensity .
