The stand is designed for cold and hot running-in without load of different brands of internal combustion engines operated in organizations of ATP, NGDU, BTsTO, RMM, etc., having different brands of rolling stock, independently performing major repairs and maintenance of car engines.

On a flat area of at least 6.5 meters by 2.5 meters, an engine running-in stand made of modules and blocks is installed.
